Old account

Quasar told me that he has reset the email for your old account, so you can use the "reset password" feature and recover it if you want. There might also be a way to merge accounts on this version of MediaWiki, I guess. --Gez 16:54, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

Yes, a bureaucrat can do that.    Ryan W 18:42, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, but all I see is the "email new password" button, and it says it doesn't have my email address tied to it. It would be fine if you merged Xcalibur201 into Xcalibur, I'd be content with that. Xcalibur 00:41, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
I was told to reset the email for Xcalibur201, and I did that a couple of days ago. If it didn't work somehow, I can try again. You may need to purge your browser cache. --Quasar 02:03, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Due to lack of progress against the issue, I have merged your accounts. Unfortunately your edit count does not seem to have increased as it should have. --SpiderMastermind 03:11, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, that suits me fine. I can live with the editcount glitch. Xcalibur 05:05, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Class glitch (Hexen)

Hey, glad to see you're active again. The glitch you wrote about in Hexen seems to be an interesting find but I couldn't get it to work in vanilla Hexen with the provided instructions. In case it is source port-specific, could you please yet add which source port(s) you know is/are affected by it? --Jartapran 16:43, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, it's good to be back. I made another edit specifying that it works on the n64 port, which is the Hexen I've always played from the days of yore. I don't know if it works on any other ports. Xcalibur 18:22, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
How about the idea to move the data to Hexen (Nintendo 64), at least for as long as the glitch hasn't been verified in other source ports? I realize it could feel disappointing for you as the addition wouldn't probably receive as much attention there but it would be a more relevant place. --Jartapran 18:28, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
I'm going to test it out on other ports. If it's only on the N64, I'll move it to that page. Xcalibur 18:46, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
OK, I already posted a version to the N64 page. I let your edits in Hexen be pending for now. --Jartapran 18:50, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
I've shortened it on the Hexen page until I can get confirmation on other ports. Xcalibur 01:33, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Link style

No biggie on missing this at first, as the Hexen pages are in fact the largest place where the convention that was agreed to for all the other games for link case has never been applied yet (the second largest area is Doom 3 related material). These articles are rather old, relatively speaking, and have not attracted very much editing activity since they were first created. Thanks for helping out with it. --Quasar (talk) 17:19, 1 July 2016 (CDT)

Appreciated. You'll notice there are different writing styles in the Hexen articles - that's because I started on them awhile back, and for a long time I've been meaning to get back to this and finish my task of rewriting all 5 hubs. If all goes well I intend to do that now. Xcalibur (talk) 00:43, 2 July 2016 (CDT)
