Void is a wad made by Mike "Cyb" Watson. It was mostly influenced by the game American Mcgee's Alice and other games.

The UAC is up to their gateway experiments again. They accidently teleport a Cyberdemon into the lab, but before the Cyberdemon could kill the player and a scientist guy at the console, the whole scene is frozen by the Heresiarch. It proceeds to then suck all the marines (both dead and alive) and the Cyberdemon into a mysterious and rather surreal dimension. The level finally starts with the player falling a long way down and takes falling damage.

Void is notorious for it's over-emphasizing of jumping and avoiding traps. The level was even almost impossible to complete from start to finish without dying at all. The afrit, Dark Bishop, and lastly the Heresiarch, all enemies from Hexen, make their appearances in this wad. There were also some new enemies, the Dark Imp and also spiders. The fist is also much more powerful than it was normally, and was in fact, the fighter's spiked gauntlets weapon with Doom fist graphics. The unmaker, a weapon known about in the Doom Bible, as well as Doom 64, makes an appearance here. The weapon works much like Heretic's Phoenix Rod that it shoots hearts which do a whole lot of damage. Ammo for the unmaker comes from slain demons.

A Max-Speedrun has been done for this level, unfortunately it requires an old version of ZDoom, which may not be available anymore.

Certain versions of ZDoom cannot run Void. The latest version of Skulltag (96b) can run it without problems.
