32 Inch Nails is a seven-map PWAD for Doom II and limit-removing ports created by Alexander S. (Eternal), released on September 29, 2008. It split off the Grid 32 community project and is built in a similar fashion, as the maps were created with a 32x32 grid in the map editor for all linedefs and vertexes, giving them a rather unique look, although this does not extend to thing placement.

Custom monsters[edit]

The WAD includes a reskin for the Wolfenstein SS, turned into a zombie marine, a darker sprite for the pain elemental, and three new enemies through the DEHACKED lump:

Identical to the enemy famously used in Scythe 2, this very tough, flying Hell noble engulfed in flames fires several mancubus and revenant projectiles at the player. It has 3500 hit points (replaces Commander Keen).
Projectile spawner
This invisible actor spawns a powerful, fast-moving green projectile on the bridges in front of it (replaces the monster spawner).
Using the sprites and sounds of the boss from PowerSlave, this tall beast can shoot multiple baron and mancubus projectiles, and can even use the explosive arch-vile attack either in melee mode or when retaliating after its pain chance. It has 25000 hit points (replaces the spider mastermind).

Built-in demos[edit]

This WAD features three built-in demos. All require Doom II v1.9 to view them. The demo levels are:

Demo Level Skill Tics Length

DEMO2 MAP07: Reactor 4 26763 12:44.66
