Adam Hegyi

Adam Hegyi (born 14 June, 1979) is a Hungarian Doomer and speedrunner who has maintained the Compet-n demo site from 1998 to 2005. One of the greatest players of all time, he holds 64 Compet-n records on the IWAD maps and has submitted 528 demos to the database (second only to Xit Vono's 1097) as of March 2021.

Hegyi also provided additional features to a DOSDoom based source port made by fellow speedrunner Andy Kempling (aurikan), named Timer.

Compet-n maintains two separate competitions for levels that have an exit to a secret level. The styles with such a differentiation are UV speed, NM speed and UV pacifist.

n = The level is finished via the normal exit.

s = The level is finished via the secret exit.

Level runs for the PWADs[edit]

Adam holds 25 additional map records: one for Alien Vendetta, eight for Hell Revealed, six for Memento Mori, and 10 for Requiem.

Other records[edit]

Adam also holds one episode/full run record for The Ultimate Doom.

Trivia[edit]

  • Adam was mentioned in "Mock 2" in the revenant's obituary, where it is said that only he can outrun a revenant's fireball.
