Assault on Moonbase Cresta is a single-level Doom II PWAD released on March 5, 1999 by Sam Ketner. Set on a lunar base overtaken by Hellspawn, Assault on Moonbase Cresta utilizes many Boom engine features, as well as several custom graphics, to create a realistic environment, and could be considered an immediate predecessor for the author's Assault on Tei Tenga released later that year for ZDoom.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Enter the Tower area and open the east wall when the lift is at the top. Follow the corridor to head to the airlocker. The side doors have a backpack, an enviro-suit, an energy cell and a medikit. (sector 67)
  2. On the walkway above the Command Control area, head to the switch at the end, then after using it, get to the main hall and head to the east side where the Military Base entrance is now open. Go there and enter the star sector to teleport to a soul sphere, then when you teleport back, you can get a rocket launcher, medikits, and a box of rockets. (sector 85)
  3. In the blue key area, head east of where the blue key is and use the small crate to get on the south wall. Head west, then jump southwest into the water to land on a ledge with medikits. (sector 242)
  4. At the airlocker, enter the southwest room and take the north door. Head on the lift and continue to press the left switch to head down, then get the enviro-suit at the bottom. (sector 410)
  5. At the airlocker, enter the southwest room and go to the northwest side of the blue hexagon column. Enter it from that direction to get a BFG9000 (not on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower), a chainsaw, a backpack, and an energy cell. (sector 757)
