Back to Basics is a nine-level Ultimate Doom mapset created by Esa Repo (Espi). It is an episode 2 replacement adhering to vanilla limits, with the first four maps originating from older projects Espi had worked on years before (of these, E2M1 had been previously released on the idgames archive as E2M1ER.wad), while the remaining maps were made exclusively for this project.
Back to Basics received one of the 15th Annual Cacowards.
