Bernewfie is a source port of Hexen, based on the Hexen source code with additions from MBF. It adds options for higher resolutions and other quality of life improvements.

Features

Added parameters:

• -novert to disable vertical mouse movement
• -mlook to enable free look
• -maxsound to set the maximum amount of sound channels, limited to 32
• -show_fps to show the current frame rate in the top right corner
• -noorb to shorten the length on the startup screen
• Added resolution parameters:
  • -400p for 640x400, -480p for 640x480, -600p for 800x600, -768p for 1024x768, and -1024p for 1280x1024
