Bleak House is a single-level PWAD for Doom II, designed by Derek Waters and released in September, 1994. It is based around a large mansion, with emphasis in exploration and close-quarters combat.

This level appears on Maximum Doom as D2HOUSE.WAD.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the corridors at the east side, raise some steps to the east and head south at the top. Open the south wall to get a stimpack (not on Ultra-Violence or higher), a medikit (only on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower), and a computer area map. (sector 41)
  2. In the library, go into the south fireplace to teleport to a rocket launcher on a table. (sector 43)
  3. In the northeast room, flip the switch for the lift and take it up. Move a bit north and open the west wall to find a box of rockets, a box of shotgun shells, and a soul sphere. You can also access this secret from the north room by climbing the steps and opening the northeast wall. (sector 82)
  4. In the study room at the south end, enter the fireplace and zigzag, getting a shotgun. Climb the steps to get a box of rockets and a soul sphere (only on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). Climb again to get a medikit (not on Ultra-Violence or higher) and another box of rockets. (sector 198)
