CH Retro Episode (retroeps.wad) is an episode 1 replacement for Ultimate Doom by Christian Hansen in the style of Knee-Deep in the Dead. It also includes a secondary file, retro_dm.wad, which is actually a loose copy of E1M4 optimized for deathmatch. All levels are vanilla compatible, although the use of a limit-removing source port is recommended, as the last level may suffer from visplane overflows.
The first level completed was released individually as CH Retro (ch_retro.wad) on June 2001, and became E1M6 in the entire episode. The whole episode was finished on April 2002 and released on May 2002.
