Debatable cases[edit]

Making note of these here because I am undecided about them:

Games merged together but with nothing removed[edit]

If we included the recent mergers of games on Steam we'd have to put almost the whole series here and it would become useless. Those are still available just by buying different apps, and people got them automatically w/o having to buy them in a lot of cases. They're also not similarly delisted on other platforms so the scope is very limited vs what categorization here might imply.

DLCs merged into a base game still available[edit]

You get these by just buying Doom (2016) now:

Not true for the Demon Multiplayer Pack as its contents are no longer functional; you must unlock the items just like everyone else even if you originally owned the entitlement.

Entire storefronts discontinued[edit]

This feels a little more severe than delisting; for one thing, it's unconditionally permanent whereas delisted items could still technically return if updated in some cases.

  • Anything from Bethesda.net
  • Possibly things from some prior PlayStation and Xbox consoles that had storefronts.
  • Qualcomm BREW phone apps
  • J2ME games for feature phones
