Delete Eric Harris because he doesn't deserve honor in our community. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.163.100.138 (talkcontribs) .

Honour is not the purpose of the Columbine articles in this wiki: the event was an important one in the history of the community, however, and should be documented. -- Jdowland 13:22, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Columbine[edit]

I support having a page for the Columbine shootings here, because of its importance to Doom history.

Having it listed in the Memorial category might inadvertently send a bad message. I understand that it's meant to memorialize the victims of course. But seeing the touching headline "This category is for Doomers we have lost. We will never forget" followed by Columbine leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, and could easily be misconstrued by bad actors. In Columbine the Doomers were the shooters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.111.64.131 (talk)

I see your point. On its day of creation, this note was added to the article, but it was removed less than a year later. If, because of all the content added since, this is no longer as obvious as Fredrik thought, then perhaps it should be restated in a prominent place. --Xymph (talk) 15:53, 11 August 2024 (CDT)
