Creating Doom WADs

One of the main reasons on Doom's survival upto this day, is the ability to create and share user-made content. There are many editors that can achieve this, but only a select few are considered modern.

Programs for making a Doom WAD

There are many programs available for this function. Here some of the common ones.

• Slade

• GZDoom Builder

• Eureka

Using The Program

The first step is to setup all your resources, such as IWADs, CFGs and PWADs. To use the program, there are tutorials usually available in the program/website.
