DBP01: Monuments of Mars

Monuments of Mars is a seven-level episode replacement for Doom II designed for limit removing source ports, created by various members of the Doomer Boards community, led by Jon Vail (40oz). It is the very first entry in the ongoing Doomer Boards Projects. Work on the project was carried out during late February and March 2018. It was first released on March 31, 2018.^[1] The levels are themed around volcanic, Martian techbases. The final version was uploaded to the idgames archive on April 6, 2018.

Monuments of Mars was mentioned in the 2018 Cacowards under the "Recommend me a...coffee break mapset" section.

On April 2, 2022, a sequel add-on was released to celebrate the four-year anniversary of the Doomer Boards Projects.
