Xenomorph Base is a six-level mapset for Doom II designed for limit removing source ports, created by various members of the Doomer Boards community, led by Jon Vail (40oz). It is the fourth entry in the ongoing Doomer Boards Projects. Work on the project was carried out during June 2018. It was first released on Doomer Boards on July 1, 2018, and uploaded to the idgames archive on July 3 of the same year. The mapset features a techbase theme inspired by the aesthetic of Swiss artist H. R. Giger, specifically his work on the 1979 film Alien.

Trivia[edit]
- The theme for the project was decided by popular vote via a poll held on Doomer Boards. The two losing themes (Aurora Borealis and Hell Revealed 3) would end up being used in future DBPs.
- This is the first DBP where mappers were allowed to choose their own custom music for their map. Previous DBPs required mappers to choose from the music provided in the resource pack.
- A special rule required mappers to place a teleport gate at the start of their map that used an animated fuzz wall texture.
