The Merry Christmassy Doom Project is a five-level mapset for Doom II designed for limit removing source ports created by various members of the Doomer Boards community. It is the seventh entry in the ongoing Doomer Boards Projects and features a Christmas theme, which would become a yearly tradition following the project's release. The project is also noteworthy for being the first DBP to feature a monsterless progression-stopping map as well as being the first project not led by Jon Vail (40oz). Development on the project began on October 30, 2018, giving it an almost two month development cycle as opposed to the typical one month norm. It was released on the Doomer Boards forums on December 24, 2018, and uploaded to the /idgames archive on February 5, 2019.
