Into the Storm is a ten-level episode WAD for Doom II designed for limit removing source ports created by various members of the Doomer Boards community, led by SuperCupcakeTactics. It is the twelfth entry in the ongoing Doomer Boards Projects and features an "aurora borealis" blue gothic theme that was originally developed by Jon Vail (40oz) as a potential theme for DBP04. It was released on the Doomer Boards forums on June 4, 2019, and uploaded to the /idgames archive on June 13.

Trivia

• The intermission screen is taken from the cover of Blind Guardian's 1998 album, Nightfall in Middle-Earth, which contains the song "Into the Storm", which the project takes its name from. A MIDI of the song is featured in MAP09: GOTHIC THUNDER.
