Plutonian Sunrise is a 12-level episode replacement for Doom II designed for limit removing source ports, created by various members of the Doomer Boards community, led by Jon Vail (40oz). It is the 53rd entry in the ongoing Doomer Boards Projects. Work on the project was carried out during October 2022. It was first released on Doomer Boards on November 2, 2022, followed by v1.1 on November 3. The mapset mixes Plutonia 2-styled techbases with a woodsy autumn theme.

Trivia

• The INTERPIC graphic features an image of Holo from the 2008 anime Spice and Wolf.
• The TITLEPIC was made by SilverMiner. The original photo and arch-vile sprite edit used to create the picture were both released in his folder in Doomworld Mega Project 2022. The photo was taken on Mogilny Island in the Ivankovo Reservoir, Russia.
