Forgotten Psychedelics is a 12-level episode replacement for Doom II designed for limit removing source ports, created by various members of the Doomer Boards community, led by JadingTsunami in their first DBP as a project lead. It is the 70th entry in the ongoing Doomer Boards Projects. Work on the project was carried out during December 2024, January and early February 2025. It was first released on February 12, 2025. The project theme is groovy vibes of 1970s.

Content

The mod uses an internal DEHACKED lump to change the level names and pickup messages for several items. Custom PLAYPAL, COLORMAP, COMPLVL, ZMAPINFO, and UMAPINFO lumps as well as a custom status bar are also included.

Custom items

The following items were renamed in a DEHACKED lump and/or use a new set of sprites:

• invulnerability is now called the psychedelisphere;
• radiation shielding suit is now called the rad-blocker jumpsuit;
• computer area map is now called the all map;
• megasphere is now called the mega health;
• supercharge is now called the super health;
• berserk, partial invisibility, and light amplification visor all use new sprites.
