Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- In the small courtyard at the northern end of the map that you enter by either deactivating the purple lasers from the circular room with the megaarmor to the east of it, or by following the eastern path along the outer perimeter of the map towards the north, step onto the jumppad to gain access to the western gallery overlooking the area. Turn around, and shoot the switch in the upper corner of the wall directly southeast from the jumppad. A triangle-shaped platform across in the southeastern corner of the courtyard, will lower for about 3 seconds. Step onto it to trigger the secret and collect two energy cells and a medikit. (sector 271)
- The ragesphere on top of the stone pillar in the open area southeast of the main building counts as a secret. To reach it, use the jumppad that is situated below it at the eastern end of the canyon filled with toxic nukage. (thing 799)
- From the central room with the demon dagger on the red tech pillar, go west across the bridge over nukage and either straferun or use the jumppad to reach the ledge at the northern end of the corridor with an energy cell pack on it. (thing 809)
- Jump into the nukage west of the central room with the demon dagger on the red tech pillar, using one of the two radiation suits in the area, and dive into the hole in the southeastern corner of the pool to find a berserk pack at the bottom. (thing 811)
- Once you acquired the red keycard, you can gain access to the northwestern open area of the map, which leads to the second portal to the dust fields. In the entrance hall leading out to this area, a segment of the northern wall can be pushed inwards, opening up a tunnel. Push it all the way into the the wall to make it drop into the ground and reveal a rocket launcher directly behind it that counts as a secret. (thing 850)
- The tunnel you create in secret #5 opens up to a room containing a soulsphere hovering in the air that counts as the secret, as well as a BFG9000 on the lowest two skill levels. (thing 1723)
- In the western wing of the building, once you deactivated the green lasers, run along the upper level to the northeastern corner of the room, and step through the now opened doorway into a small multi-storey room. Drop down to the middle level from the end of the walkway and collect the soulsphere to trigger the secret. (thing 876)
- On the large balcony overlooking the canyon area, past the red door to the south of the bridge over the nukage that lies directly west of the central room with the demon dagger, there is a large, round steel grill that can be lowered by shooting the hidden switch right past the doorway that leads onto this section from the east. The bars of the grill will lower temporarily, granting access to the megaarmor that counts as the secret. (thing 2233)
