Darker is a single-level PWAD for Doom II. It was designed by Malcolm Sailor in 1995.

  1. Heading east from the red door, the end of the path has a secret door leading to a plasma rifle and an energy cell pack. (sector 136)


Note that if you fall off the lift leading to the yellow key room or use the teleporter without having collected the yellow key, it will be impossible to complete the level as the lift cannot be lowered and the yellow key is needed.

Demo files[edit]

The release includes a separate demo file, DARKER.LMP, by the author. It requires Doom II v1.666 to be viewed and runs for 5:04.40 (10654 tics), showing off the level on I'm Too Young To Die.
