Dave Kiddell (mewse)
From DoomWiki.org
David Kiddell (alias mewse) is a Canadian community steward most active between 1999 and 2005. In 1999 he started humor web site "Mewse News" which skewered Doom community members and current happenings. It ran until mid-2000 when parent host DoomNation was permanently shut down. As a regular on IRC channels #doomroom and #chocolate-doom he was also responsible for discovering the cartoon image that sparked the Doom community's pink fish meme.
Mewse helped beta test community-made level PWADs (RTC-3057), source ports (RORDoom) and level editors (WadC). The only released level that he was designed was submitted to Doomworld's 10 Sectors contest in 2000. It was selected for megawad 10 Sectors Part 2 and appears to be a joke WAD with its use of 90-degree hallways and Wolfenstein 3D resources from Doom II's secret levels.
Between 2002 and 2005 he regularly posted news updates to Doomworld's homepage.
