Degeneration I is a single-level PWAD for Doom that was released in 1994. It was designed by Brian J. Rowan (Blazkowicz) a.k.a. Brian J. Jacobs.

Secrets[edit]

  1. The south-west corner of the start room is a secret lift leading to two health bonuses, an armor bonus, and a switch. The switch opens up a teleporter to the north-east of the area behind the first door leading to three imps (one on easy skill), a backpack, a rocket launcher, two boxes of rockets, and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 16)
  2. Take the door south of the room with the arrowhead-shaped nukage. Part-way along this corridor is a secret door to the east leading to a teleporter to four health bonuses, a BFG9000, and two energy cells. (sector 38)
  3. The south-west corner of the red key room has a box of rockets. Shoot the lights to the south - a door opens, revealing access to a teleporter to two health bonuses, an armor bonus, a plasma rifle, and an energy cell pack. The wall west of the teleporter has a switch. (sector 97)
  4. The blue key room has a secret door on the east wall leading to a light amplification visor. (sector 109)
  5. Pressing the switch in #3 opens a door in the blue key room leading to a teleporter to a partial invisibility (not on easy skill) (sector 144)
