Doom 2: The Way We Remember It is a community project in which participants recreated the levels and soundtrack of Doom II from memory. A follow-up to 2021's Doom: The Way We Remember It, it was again led by Engired and featured many mappers from the original project. It started on August 1, 2021,[1] and the first version was released on January 2, 2022.[2] The WAD was uploaded to the /idgames archive on January 29, 2022.

A sequel, TNT: The Way We Remember It, was released in 2023.
