Official launch trailer.

Doom 3: VR Edition is a new version of Doom 3 optimized for the PlayStation VR developed by Archiact. Announced by Bethesda on March 4, 2021, it released on March 29, 2021.[1]. It includes all of the content from Doom 3: BFG Edition's 2019 rerelease (the main campaign, Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission), except for the multiplayer mode. It supports the DualShock 4 controller and the PlayStation Aim, but not the Move controllers that come bundled with the PSVR headset.

Changes[edit]

  • Weapons are completely re-modeled with addition of ammo displays and laser sights.
  • The AVD is added to replace the game's HUD.
