Changes[edit]
- Improved presentation with reworked intro and ending cinematics.
- Values of items, ammunition and stats as in the original game.
- Voices and audio logs can be better heard, unlike in the BFG Edition where ambient sounds make audio logs difficult to hear.
- Player model and armor item model now correspond to Bravo Team marines.
- Deleted or altered several clip brushes so the player is less restricted in the map (the player can now jump over railings to their death).
- Fixed many map issues, such as areas where the player could get stuck, textures, and visual glitches.
- Underground 2 sentry bot now activates its flashlight when entering its route.
- No armor-mounted flashlight.
Technical[edit]
The mod requires Doom 3's final v1.3.1 patch, and also requires the Resurrection of Evil expansion to be installed, since it serves as the base game for The Lost Mission. An officially supported version of the game code is available for use with the dhewm3 source port, and a third-party port (currently unsupported) to CstDoom3 has been completed as well.
