Doomworld Maximum Project 2022 is a collaborative mapset for Doom II, to which anyone could have submitted their map, regardless of mapping skill. It is a second installment in the ongoing Doomworld Maximum Project series and was once again led by James Caldwell (Obsidian). The project started on January 1, 2022.[1] A year later - on January 30, 2023 - public beta testing started.[2] The WAD was uploaded to the /idgames archive on March 8, 2023, and updated a few days later on March 12.
