Doomworld Mega Project 2015 is a collaborative megawad, containing fifty-three maps from as many different mappers from the Doomworld forums. As with the previous projects, it accepted any maps for Doom II, regardless of theme, difficulty, quality or target source port, though the maps could not include secret level exits, nor use the MAP07 or MAP30 slots. They also could not be potentially damaging to the user (e.g. by using scripts to change port settings, or using zip bombs).

The project was started by scifista42 on January 20, 2015,[1] and thus was the first edition of the series not to be led by TimeOfDeath, though he would return to host the project in the following year. The first alpha of the WAD appeared on January 4, 2016,[2] but a final release was significantly delayed, which in turn cast doubt on if a 2016 project would happen. The final version of the WAD eventually appeared on the idgames archive on November 20, 2016.[3]

The project was divided into three WAD files: DMP15A.wad contains twenty-four maps in vanilla and limit-removing formats, DMP15B.wad contains eighteen Boom-compatible maps, and finally, DMP15C.wad contains eleven maps, the first eight of which are for ZDoom-compatible ports, though the remaining three require GZDoom.
