E1M1: Checkmate is the first map of the first episode of PhobosDeimos Anomaly. It was designed by Callum Guy Oliver (phobosdeimos1) and uses the music track "".

Secrets[edit]

  1. Just before the lift leading to the red key, open the wall with the skull to get a plasma gun, an ammo clip, and energy cell packs. The switch here reveals a box of rockets. (sector 23)
  2. Teleport from the red key area, then open the north wall to find a chainsaw, a rocket launcher, and rockets. (sector 55)
  3. At the northeast room, go to the southeast corner to lower the central lift. Go south from that lift and into the east alcove to get a soul sphere. (sector 122)
