E1M1: Toxic Touchdown is the first map in the Dead Colliding episode of ConC.E.R.Ned. It was designed by Matt Powell (cannonball) and uses a MIDI rendition of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Head past two zombiemen (and a shotgun guy on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher) to a door and open it to find a shotgun guarded by two more zombiemen and one or more imps. Open the north door to see some imps and zombiemen on the other side of a nukage trench, then turn right to see one or two more imps guarding a switch that will raise a bridge - after doing so, cross the bridge and take the yellow keycard on the other side.

Go back to the shotgun room and open the locked west door to enter a room with a pair of nukage spouts. There are two more doors on the other side of the room - go through the south door and head past some more enemies to a button, press it then quickly step back to avoid an ambush by imps to your left and right. Go back to the previous room and head through the now-open north door to confront a demon and four zombiemen (or shotgun guys on HMP or higher), then head forward to an exit door, kill the shotgun guy waiting behind it and press the button here to finish the level.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Open the first door, then open the south-east wall with slime on it. Go down the steps to find a chainsaw. (sector 47)
  2. Open the poison sign west of the yellow key to get five armor bonuses and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 192)
