E1M2: Guts in a Blender is the second map of Shotgun Symphony. It was designed by Steve Duff and uses the music track "".

Secrets[edit]

  1. Flip the switch at the start and head north at the fork. Approach the lift to the left and ride it up. At the top, open the north wall for health bonuses, armor bonuses, and a switch. (sector 280)
  2. Flip the switch in Secret #1, then leave the area and head back down the lift. East of you is another lift. Ride it up, then shoot the east wall to get ammo and a backpack. (sector 287)
  3. Head back to the fork and head southeast to the next room. Approach the door, which opens the corners. In the northeast corner, open the north wall to find a box of ammo and a medikit (Hey, Not Too Rough or lower) or a chaingun (higher skill levels). (sector 337)
  4. In the southeast area with nukage, flip the switch in the middle structure to open the bars to the northeast. Drop down and head that way, then north. Open the poison sign to find rockets. (sector 325)
  5. Open the wall north of Secret #4 and follow the steps up to a switch that lowers the rocket launcher. (sector 320)
  6. Jump out the window in Secret #5, then head north and west to find health bonuses, armor bonuses, and shotgun shells. (sector 398)
  7. Head back to the nukage area and take the west lift up. Follow the path to a room where you can see a chainsaw in the other room. Press on the west wall and follow the corridor to a door. Open it to get a shotgun, a computer area map, and a medikit. (sector 69)
  8. Get the blue key, then open the blue door at the west end. Follow the hallway to a switch and flip it. Open the wall east of that switch and follow the hall to the room with the chainsaw. Flip the switch to lower it. (sector 26)
  9. Jump out of the window near Secret #8 to find boxes of ammo and a switch outside. (sector 392)
  10. The switch in Secret #9 opens up the south wall near the blue door. Head back there, flip a switch for a lift down, then get to the middle and use the switch there to lower a rocket launcher. (sector 20)
  11. The first switch mentioned in Secret #8 opens a wall south and slightly east of the yellow door. This leads to a soul sphere. (sector 94)
