E1M3: E3M3 - Computer Lab is the third map in the first episode of Switcheroom. It was designed by Micah Petersen (Jaws in Space) and is based on the layout of E3M3: Pandemonium. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 2:00.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Kill the approaching demon then go west into the neighboring room with the blue floor. Head north through a corridor of lights to a tan room, noting a spectre hiding in an alcove on the right-hand side, then head east through a cross-shaped opening and north down a staircase to the blue keycard; taking it will open closets behind you containing more spectres. Go back to the starting room and head down a staircase lined by barrels, then head north across a slanted bridge and go round the computer block in the next room to find another staircase. Climb the stairs to a pillared room with zombies, then continue north until you reach a blue door and open it to find zombiemen, shotgun guys and a demon guarding the exit door. Open the exit door to find one more demon guarding the exit switch for E1M4: E4M4 - Sladwall Inc..

Official[edit]

  1. In the west hall, find an opening to the west to access the west side, which has a path going to a room with barrels and monsters. (sector 103) On Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher, the room also contains one or two medikits.
  2. On the way to the rocket launcher in secret #1, there will be two switches at the east side of the area. Flip them both. The second switch will actually open the way to this secret, which is a small window in the maze north of the central region, in the nukage. Go to the north-east part of this maze and the window will be to the south. You can jump to the blue pad here to access the secret exit. (sector 201)
  3. Head west from the blue key room and use a beige wall to the north to find a rocket launcher. (sector 238) The secret also holds imps and spectres on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare.

Non-official[edit]

  • From the start, head north up the steps to enter a room with a tall pillar. Press the concealed button on the north side of the pillar to lower it and get a computer area map.
  • In the maze south of the blue key room, enter the westernmost passage to find a supercharge in a dead end.
