E1M5: Communications Lab is the fifth map in the Come out fighting episode of NJ Doom. It was designed by Nigel Rowand (Enjay).

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the north-east of the level is a soul sphere on a ledge. East of this ledge is a secret door in the south wall (marked with a slightly lighter texture) leading to a plasma rifle and an energy cell pack. (sector 72)
  2. The soul sphere itself can be reached via a secret door in the north wall to the west (also marked with a slightly lighter texture). Both the sector immediately after the door and the ledge itself count as separate secrets. (sector 77)
  3. See #2. (sector 74)
  4. In the north-west of the level is a maze, at the north-east corner of which are two secret doors (marked by light grey supports) leading to a berserk. (sector 144)
  5. After going through the blue door it is necessary to press a switch to open a door to the east. Behind this door is a secret door on the north wall (marked with a different texture) leading to a box of rockets, a rocket launcher, a backpack and an invulnerability. (sector 187)
  6. The partially-opened door immediately before the exit counts as a secret and is impossible to miss. (sector 11)
