Walkthrough[edit]
Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.
Essentials[edit]
Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- Head across the nukage at the start and press the northern wall where the armor bonuses are to find a room with a box of shotgun shells. (sector 153)
- Enter the nukage at the western part of the map and head into the narrow path at the southern part of the nukage. Take the lift up to get a box of shotgun shells and a stimpack. (sector 25) You can also enter the secret from the south of it by pressing the completely green part of the northern wall near the secret.
- At the southeastern part of the map, find a switch to the interior section and ride the lift up. At the top, there is another switch to press on the eastern side. After using it, leave the interior section and head to the northern part of the area. An open wall here leads to a room with health and armor bonuses. (sector 78) Continue past this room to find more health bonuses, rockets, and a rocket launcher.
- In the rocket launcher room, press the wall with slime at the northwest side for another passage with stimpacks. Press the wall here to get to the outside section, where you can find health bonuses and a megaarmor. (sector 49)
- Press the wall next to the megaarmor in Secret #4 to find another passage with a box of ammo and a switch for a lift with a backpack. Take the lift up to find a stimpack and a light amplification visor. (sector 30) The wall to the north requires the blue key to open.
- In the blue key area, lower the platform on the western part of it and ride it up. Press the northwestern wall to find a chainsaw and a medikit. (sector 70) The southwestern wall here also requires the blue key.
- In the small room west of the central room, shoot the barrel near the wall that does not have slime and then press it. You will find partial invisibility and a box of ammo. (sector 80)
Bugs[edit]
- Sector 157: The concrete floor on which the player starts is a type 7 5% damage sector, while the surrounding nukage areas are harmless.[1]
- Linedef 161: This switch is single-use, but the affected door (sector 16) is repeatably activatable and monster-activatable on its far side. Thus it is possible to have the door close and not be able to re-open it, preventing progress. All is not lost, however, as there are other ways to reach the exit, through secret areas.
- Linedef 991: This line is single-sided but is a type 31 D1 manual door. Activating it may cause a crash in vanilla.
