E1M5: Spaceport MF is the fifth map of URE2020: Unexpected Retro Experience. It was designed by Zylinderkatze and uses one of the following music tracks: "On the Hunt" by Robert Prince (base WAD), untitled track by Amaury Laurent Bernier (when loading base WAD with URE2020A.WAD) or "No Gods Allowed" by Nathan Maxx (Lippeth) (when loading base WAD with URE2020L.WAD). "MF" in the name of the map means "Military Facility" per URE2020.TXT.

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. When you get to the lift with the shotgun, hug the north wall as the lift descends. Get on the ledge with ammo clips and open the north wall to find stimpacks and a box of ammo. Flip the switch in the lava to find more stimpacks and a choice to get either a backpack or a berserk pack. (sector 90)
  2. In the central maze, head to the lava pit with the platform that has a megaarmor. Head south in the hall and find a button, which opens a small compartment to the south with another switch. This will lower the east lift. Ride it up and run north through the smaller maze, then head southwest to get the megaarmor. (sector 181)
  3. West of the megaarmor, shoot a wall to the north in the maze to find a chainsaw. (sector 1044)
  4. At the spaceport marked "2", flip the switch to the south and leave to the east to find another switch. Flip it and return to the spaceport and through the south wall. In this room, take the west lift up and jump southeast to the metal wall which leads to a computer area map. (sector 331)
  5. East of the spaceport marked "3", go to the health bonuses near the door and use the wall twice to find more health bonuses and ammo clips. (sector 1435)
  6. In the long hall going to the east side, run through the three doors and quickly run north. Take a lift down and open the north wall. Flip the switch here to open a section of the east wall. Maneuver on it to get to the crates, then maneuver southwest to get a soul sphere. (sector 370)
  7. Open the yellow door and go through the hall. When you turn south, you will hear something open. Backtrack and enter a compartment to the south to get rockets, stimpacks, and an ammo clip. (sector 88)
  8. In the southwest area, enter the northeast cage and flip the switch to keep the door open. Enter the hall west of the cage and quickly run back southeast to the computer, finding a switch on its east side. Flip it and return to the northeast cage, where you can head south to get a berserk pack. (sector 597)
