E1M5 is the fifth map of BOBKDV2. It was designed by Bob Carter. It was later adapted into E3M2 of The Lost Episodes of Doom.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Opposite the switch which lowers the platform containing the soul sphere and plasma gun is a switch which opens the door (which counts as a secret) to a passage leading to a partial invisibility and a teleporter to a room in the south-east with a soul sphere. The door out of this room (which also counts as a secret) leads to a circular path that can also be accessed by lowering the lift (which also counts as a secret) by walking east past either of the higher pillars.   4. The western door out of the south-eastern area leads to a room with three imps (medium and hard skills only), the lower part of which raises a ceiling, allowing a soul sphere and a partial invisibility to be obtained. (sector 64)
