E1M6: Central Processing is the sixth map of Phobos Revisited. It was designed by Rex Claussen and uses the music track "".

Official[edit]

  1. In the room east of the red key, go to the west side and open the south wall with caution stripes to find a backpack. (sector 255)
  2. In the central room, open the southwest red door and head straight west. Lower the wall, ride it up, and open another wall with caution stripes. Follow the corridor to get to a soul sphere. (sector 143)
  3. At the southeastern maze, go to the zigzag portion at the west end of it, and on the east bend, open the west wall with lights to get a green armor. (sector 308)

Non-official[edit]

  • From the start position, look to your left/west, and through the diagonal grille window, and across the nukage, to see an open doorway. Through the doorway is a short dead-end passage, full of barrels, along with a zombieman at the open end, and an imp at the far end. If you shoot the barrels from the outside, you will die. Instead, kill the zombieman and the imp without touching the barrels. Stand in the nook at the dead end, and shoot the last barrel. You will take damage, but at the same time, receive a soul sphere and a blue armor, coming out ahead.

Technical information[edit]

The "voodoo trap" with the dead-end passage and barrels has a quasi-false wall at the end. It blocks movement, but allows the explosion from the barrels through. On the other side is a voodoo doll, and then a soul sphere and a blue armor. If you shoot the barrels from the outside, the chain reaction builds along the passage, as barrels are knocked towards the false wall. The resulting damage is not survivable, even with the bonus items. If you shoot the last barrel first, the chain reaction travels away from the doll, dealing less damage, but still providing enough force to knock the doll into the power-up items.
