E1M6: E4M6 - Against Thee Processing is the sixth map in the first episode of Switcheroom. It was designed by Travers Dunne (traversd) and is based on the layout of E4M6: Against Thee Wickedly. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 3:00.

Essentials[edit]

Follow the path to a large outdoor area with zombies, drop down a hole then head east until you reach a nukage pit. Drop into the nukage and climb on to the small island in the center, take the radiation shielding suit here then press the button on the south side of the column to lower the western lift. Ride the lift up and run straight forward to jump over a gap, then climb the stairs to the blue keycard. With the key, go back to the nukage and climb on the center island again, then press the button on the north side of the column to lower two lifts on that side of the nukage. Ride either lift up and go east to a switch requiring the blue key, pull it then go west and kill some shotgun guys and spectres who are blocking your path to another button. Pressing the button will raise a pair of steps nearby, letting you climb up to the yellow keycard.

Go back down the steps and head east again, passing the switch you flipped earlier to enter a room with two windows. Go north from here to a switch and press it to go down to an outdoor area with two green structures, then open the door of the northern building and press the button behind it. Now ride the lift back up to the windowed room, where the south wall has lowered to reveal a staircase, then follow it down to a nukage pool containing the red keycard; taking the key opens the wall behind it, revealing one or two demons on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher. Go back up the steps to the large nukage pit, drop into it then go through the doorway in the south-east corner to find steps leading up to a red door. Open the door and kill the zombies and imps waiting behind it, then go south to the exit door and open it to reach the exit button.

Other points of interest[edit]

A shotgun appears at different points in the map depending on skill level. On I'm Too Young To Die and Hey Not Too Rough the weapon is south of the starting point, on Hurt Me Plenty it is placed on the small island in the middle of the nukage pit, and on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare it is placed at the top of the lift before the blue key.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Head to the large outdoor region, then go through the north-west wall to find a megaarmor, shotgun shells, and a box of bullets. (sector 71)
  2. Drop down in the large outdoor region and take the south path. Go to the light and use the south wall to find a lift to a supercharge. (sector 17)
  3. Head back and take the north path. Go to the light and use the north wall to find a passage with health bonuses and a box of bullets. (sector 168) The door here leads to the room containing the button that raises the steps to the yellow key.
  4. Keep going north from secret #3 to a door. Open it and cross the nukage to get a radiation suit, a medikit and a chaingun. (sector 198)
  5. Use the switch behind the red door at the east end. This opens up the windows to the west. Go there and take the south-east path which leads to a rocket launcher. (sector 64)
  6. After using the switch behind the red door mentioned above, return to the center and enter the nukage, going south-west. In the next area, you will find a backpack and a chainsaw. (sector 193)
