E1M7: Blackened is the seventh map in the first episode of The Beginning of the End (part 1). It was designed by Emil Brundage (NaturalTvventy) and uses the music track "".

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Take the lift near the start up. Lower the wall to the east and open another wall to get a berserk pack and an invulnerability. (sector 51)
  2. Open the next wall to the east to get a plasma gun. (sector 52)
  3. Take the west path in the big field until you reach a door. Open it, then open the south wall to get a backpack. (sector 56)
  4. Open the blue door and open the east wall to get a computer area map, a green armor, a stimpack, and a medikit. (sector 84)
  5. Grabbing the red key removes the wall behind it. Open the north wall here to get a rocket launcher and boxes of rockets. (sector 87)
