E1M7: Blaze of Glory is the seventh level of Infinity. It was designed by Björn Hermans and Holger Nathrath, and uses a MIDI rendition of "Too Funky" by George Michael as its music track.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
The red door in this level is not locked (see Bugs), so the western area of the map with the red key is entirely optional.
You start in an intersection with four doors. Kill the caged zombies around you then go through the west door to enter a room with a computer block. Open the door west of the block to find a teleporter, enter it to teleport to a staircase with some imps, then go up the stairs to a square chamber and head south-west into a room with six doors. Open the easternmost door on the south side to find three shotgun guys guarding the red skull key, then return to the square room where a wall has opened and released two demons. Step through this wall and follow the passage north to find some lost souls guarding a door leading back to the computer room.
Return to the starting point and go through the north door to see a metal block surrounded by a nukage pool. Go round to the north-east side of the block to see an alcove with a lion switch, press it to lower a lift then go to the west side of the block to find the blue skull key. Taking the key opens four monster closets below containing a number of zombies and imps, which you will need to fight through to get back to the starting point. Open the east door now and follow the steps past some shotgun guys until you drop into a hole, then activate the metal lift ahead and ride it up to the floor above. Head north into a room with caged shotgun guys, which will open a closet south of the lift containing imps and a lion switch, then press that switch to open two alcoves in the previous room which also contain lion switches. Press the western switch in the room to open the door on the eastern side, then follow the passage behind it to drop into a room with a cage overlooked by more zombiemen and imps. Climb the steps on either side of the cage to get the yellow skull key.
Return to the metal lift and ride it up to the floor above, then press the eastern switch in the northern room to open the door on the west side, which leads back to the staircase that will return you to the starting point. Open the south door here to see a nukage trench, follow it south to the T room, then flip the switch behind the nearby imp cage to finish the level.

Secrets[edit]
- Open the door west of the four-way intersection at the start. Go to the middle of the next room and you can get two secrets with a chaingun, a box of shotgun shells, a stimpack, and an armor in both of them. (sector 101)

- Along the route to the yellow key, press on the big lift and ride it up. Then, go north into the room with the cage, and go back south across the big lift. Several monsters will be around a switch needed to proceed to the yellow key, and you can get three secrets here. (sector 74)

- Three of the ledges around the nukage past the yellow door count as secret sectors. (sector 167)

Bugs[edit]
The door north of the four-way intersection at the starting point is marked as a red door. However, this door does not require a key to open.
