E1M7: E3M7 - Transport Station is the seventh map in the first episode of Switcheroom. It was designed by Roberto Lopez (Gothic) and is based on the layout of E3M7: Limbo. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 3:00.

Essentials[edit]

On Ultra-Violence and Nightmare skill levels, there will be two shotgun guys in front of you at the start of the level. Go forward to the central room, which will release one or more demons behind you, then head west from that room to a junction before continuing south past a concrete block to a room with a large nukage pool. Kill all the waiting zombies then go to the west end of the walkway to find a button. Press the button to lower the pillar in the south-east corner of the nukage pool holding the blue keycard, as well as opening the concrete block you just passed to reveal some demons - note that taking the blue key will cause the bridges on either side to drop away.

Go back to the central room and head east to a junction with two blue doors, then open the southern door to reach a walkway with one or more demons on it. Go to the west end of the walkway and press the button here, then run to the east end of the walkway to catch a lift before it rises. Follow the blue ledge to another button and press it to raise a bridge over the nukage in this room, then cross the bridge to a second lift and ride it up to a balcony with a third button. After pressing this button, go back to the junction with the blue doors and open the northern door, then go straight forward until you drop down a hole and enter a maze of nukage tunnels. Take a radiation shielding suit, then go through the west doorway and head as far west as you can to find the red keycard in a small chamber.

From the red key, head back to the maze to its south-east corner and use the lift here to get back to the ground floor. Go back to the central room and head west, then north to a path that leads to a red door. Open the door and kill some waiting imps, grab the yellow keycard they were guarding and kill some zombies that are released behind you before leaving, then go back to the central room and head north up some steps to a hallway with three locked doors. Go through the eastern door first and press the button ahead, then go through the western door and step across a small bridge that has just risen to reach a second button. Finally, go through the center door and head straight forward across another bridge to the exit door, then open it to find one or two shotgun guys guarding the exit button.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the south-west area, go to the switch near the nukage and use the terminal to the east of it. Head back east and then north-east to get a chaingun and two stimpacks. (sector 41)
  2. In the north maze, head all the way to the north-west end and lower the south wall to get a computer area map. (sector 135)
  3. In the north maze, head to the east end and go south to where a lift is. Lower the north wall to find a rocket launcher. (sector 143)
