E1M7: This Is My Shotgun is the seventh map of Shotgun Symphony. It was designed by Steve Duff.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Head east of the first hub and across the bridge over the nukage. At the next set of steps, press on the misaligned wall at the northeast end, then follow these stairs down. Outside, head to the structure and press the switch at the south end to lower the backpack. (sector 693)
  2. Go back to the steps and continue to the next room. At the south end are four terminals. Open the terminal second from the right to find a lift. Take it up to the backside of a caged area where you can get a soul sphere. (sector 209)
  3. Grab the soul sphere in Secret #2 which opens a corridor to the west. Flip the switch at the end to open the way back to the hub as well as another corridor west. Head there to get boxes of rockets and a rocket launcher. (sector 237)
  4. In the blue key area, head to the lift west of the blue key to lower it. Quickly run left, then down to a small corridor with a stimpack, a megaarmor, and a switch. (sector 330)
  5. The switch in Secret #4 will open a barrier in the area with nukage, which you would cross if you were going to Secret #1. Go back there and head east until you get to a fork. Open the east wall and follow this path. Find the switch to lower the chainsaw. (sector 401)
  6. Go back to the fork and head north. In the big area, head east, then north and up the steps until you get to a switch. The switch will raise a walkway to the central pillar with a plasma gun. (sector 350)
  7. Grab the red key to open the back wall. Open the east wall there to find rockets and health bonuses. (sector 1342)
  8. Open the other door in Secret #7, which opens another wall north of it. Take the lift down and use the switch there, then back up. In the big room, head west to get a megaarmor. (sector 507)
  9. Going towards the yellow key will lower a column behind you. Stepping on that column will cause it to rise up. As it rises, jump over the east railing and enter the teleporter there to get a megaarmor. (sector 461)
  10. Going towards the yellow key will lower a column behind you. Stepping on that column will cause it to rise up. As it rises, jump over the west railing where a medikit, a chaingun, and a box of ammo under it. (sector 482)
  11. Head southeast from Secret #10 and take a lift up. In the corridor you can find a misaligned wall at the south end. Open it and head all the southeast to another lift to take up. Use the switch there, head back and northwest, until you can go northeast. Do so and continue east and up until you get to a soul sphere. (sector 497)
  12. Head back from Secret #11 down the steps and at the bottom, press the south wall to find a long passage leading east. In the large room afterwards, use the switch at the south end to lower a BFG9000. (sector 122)
  13. Open the yellow door and head south up the stairs, then up a lift. Open the door to open a wall after it with lost souls. Open the misaligned wall there to get a computer area map. (sector 724)

Bugs[edit]

A zombieman (Thing 443) in the west has no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so it does not actually appear in the level. It is next to a shotgun guy at skills 3-5, so was probably intended to appear at skills 1-2.
