E1M7 is the seventh map of the first episode of Base Ganymede. It was designed by Adam Woodmansey (Khorus) and uses the E1M9/E3M9 music theme from Doom the Way id Did's optional soundtrack, composed by Mr. Freeze.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
You begin in a diamond-shaped room with many imps, but they start facing away from you so you can collect the shotgun in front of you without any problems. Go through the north-west door, which only opens from one side, then turn left to see some shotgun guys and zombiemen guarding a chaingun and another door—more shotgun guys and imps will be released behind you when you go down the steps. Open the door to enter a water pool and approach the west wall to lower it, revealing a chainsaw and a third door, then go through that door to see a cage holding a baron of Hell and the yellow skull key. To get to the cage you will need to enter the lava around it then use the bridge on the west side to lower it like a lift.
With the yellow key, go back to the water room and head south to a door, which has some imps behind it. Go past the imps to a staircase and climb up it, run west to jump across the water trench, then go south into a rock tunnel and follow it until you see the right-hand wall open, revealing imps and lost souls along with a rocket launcher and armor. Continue west to a cave with some cacodemons and press the gargoyle switch to raise a bridge from the lava, then step across it and open the door on the other side to see another gargoyle switch ahead. Press the switch to go up to a marble hall with imps, lost souls and spectres, then go into the passage at the west end of the hall to find a baron guarding a switch. Flip the switch to lower a teleporter in the hall which will send you back to the water room.
In the water room, enter either of the teleporters that have lowered in front of you to go back to the starting point, where more imps have been released along with shotgun guys and demons. Go through the yellow door at the south-west end to enter a cave with barons, then follow the red path down to a radiation shielding suit and supercharge next to a satyr switch. Press the switch to lower the west wall, kill a spiderdemon that teleports in then step through the wall you just lowered to reveal four spectres. Press the gargoyle switch behind the spectres to open a teleporter to your right, which will send you into a death exit.
