E1M9: Breathless Wastes is the ninth and secret map in Hub 1: Faithless of Faithless: Trilogy. It was designed by James Paddock (Jimmy) and uses the music track "White Tower 1" by Frank Klepacki, from Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos.

Secrets[edit]
- At the northeast end, jump east from the torches and you will find flame orbs and a Wings of Wrath. (sector 375)
- At the north side, head for the switch at the west end of the building and use it, then head back northeast and north to flame orbs and Boots of the North. (sector 397)
- After using the switch at the southeast end of the map, teleport back to the north end and head southeast, then north to get Wendigo's Breath. (sector 492)
- Go towards the gate at the southwest end of the map to teleport to a firemace. (sector 200 via "Actor Enters Sector" thing 356 and "secret trigger" thing 18)
- In the central building, go all the way to the northeast switch and use it, then quickly head back to the middle and take the teleporter on the west side. Use the switch here and quickly re-enter the teleporter, then exit via the north door. Head around the west wall and southwest to a Ring of Invincibility. (sector 217 via "Actor Enters Sector" thing 105 and "secret trigger" thing 88)
- After melting the ice, head south of the central building to get a shadowsphere. (sector 69 via "Actor Enters Sector" thing 169 and "secret trigger" thing 95)
