E1M9: Sleeping Demons is the ninth and secret map in the first episode of The Beginning of the End (part 1). It was designed by Emil Brundage (NaturalTvventy) and uses the music track " ".

Secrets[edit]

  1. Head north from the start and climb the steps. Open the wall to the west to get a BFG9000 and a health bonus. (sector 14)
  2. Shoot the terminal in Secret #1 to open a wall at the bottom of the steps, which hides a megaarmor. (sector 28)
  3. Enter the lava river south of the starting point and go west. Open the wall where the boxes of ammo are to find health bonuses and a switch that raises a bridge to the other side of the lava river. (sector 34)
  4. When you teleport to the area to the south, head south, then open the green wall without vines to find a berserk pack. (sector 81)
