E1M9 is the ninth and secret map of ASDoom. It was designed by Andy Sheppard.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. In the east of the level is an area with several barons of Hell and a switch which lowers a wall allowing access to the exit. There is a secret door on the west wall here, opposite the north-westernmost part of the baron of Hell sector, which requires the yellow key, and leads to two spectres, a BFG9000, a box of rockets, and an energy cell pack. (sector 40)
  2. Similar to #1, there is a secret door opposite the south-westernmost part of the baron of Hell sector, which requires the blue key, and leads to a spectre, five rocket launchers, some ammo, and a medikit. Getting the medikit activates a crushing ceiling which will crush the barons of Hell. (sector 42)


The four doors in the corners of the main rectangular corridor can only be opened from the western side, thus if one of these doors closes with the player to the east of it, the area behind that door will be permanently closed off. This makes 100% kills and 100% secrets virtually impossible to obtain (as both secrets require keys which are located in the north and south corridors).
