E2M12: Dernholm is the twelfth map in episode It's Swamplicated of The Joy of Mapping 5: Winter Weekend. It was designed by DukeWooze and uses the music track "Plasma," originally composed by Lee Jackson for Duke Nukem 3D. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 7:45.

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. On the south ledge in the central cave, jump northeast to get a backpack and ammo. (sector 343)
2. In the same cave, go through the northwest slimefall to get a box of rockets, an energy cell pack, and a berserk pack. (sector 353)
3. Enter the fort walls in the central cave and use the northeast lift. At the top, find a button on the west wall, which raises the eastern fort wall. Cross over that wall to get health bonuses, armor bonuses, and a soul sphere. (sector 129)
4. In the yellow key room, use the southeast wall and take the teleporter to get a megaarmor. (sector 280)
5. At the west side, shoot the head of the large pink giant, then leave to the east and take the teleporter to the south to get a plasma gun and energy cell pack. (sector 444)
6. Head southeast from the exit switch to find a megasphere. (sector 773)
