E2M2: Escaping the Anomaly is the second map in the Anomaly Reborn episode of The Joy of Mapping 6: Joy Eternal. It was designed by Zodiac and uses the music track "Waiting for Romero to Play," originally composed by Robert Prince for Doom II. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 1:00.

Secrets[edit]

  1. When you go through the north wall at the start, head west and through a wall at the health bonus, getting another one along with shotgun shells. (sector 52)
  2. At the broken bridge, run southeast into the void and behind the wall. Go through it to get health bonuses, energy cells, and a plasma gun. (sector 163)
  3. At the broken bridge, head to the northwest and jump that way to get a soul sphere. (sector 168)
