Take the shotgun and go through the open door to a large room with zombies and imps - you must find all three of the keys to activate the switches in this room. Go through the north doorway and fight your way down two flights of steps, then step through the south-west doorway to enter a room with some blue chairs; run across the lava trench in the middle of the room, then go to the west wall to find a button next to a berserk pack. After pressing the button, run across the lava trench again and look west to see that some metal bars have lowered, letting you enter a room containing the yellow keycard. As you enter the room, watch out for a demon (or baron of Hell on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher) that rises from the floor.

Go back to the staircases, watching out for enemies that have been released from an alcove to the east, then head through the north doorway to enter a warehouse full of crates; watch out for ambushes from various enemies as you proceed. Head for the north-west side of the warehouse and look for a single gray crate placed against the wall; due south of this crate is a teleporter between two red pillars which is guarded by one or two cacodemons. Step into the teleporter to reach the red keycard, placed on a crate in the south-east corner of the warehouse.

Head south up some steps and open the door at the top to enter a small room with shotgun guys and a demon guarding a chaingun, then go through the next door to get outside. Head east around the structure on your left until you reach a door guarded by a single imp or cacodemon, go through it and step on the lift in front of you to go down to a blue corridor guarded by various enemies. Turn right at the T-junction and follow the corridor round to a skull switch guarded by a cacodemon; pressing the switch will lower the surrounding walls revealing imps and shotgun guys, and some spectres will teleport in behind you. Go back round to the lift and look ahead to see that a pillar holding the blue keycard has lowered.

With the blue key, ride the lift up and go back outside to confront some imps and shotgun guys that have teleported in, then return to the starting room and flip all three of the switches on the curved desk to open a small passage in the south wall. Go into the passage and flip the switch at the end, which will open the nearby exit door but will also allow a crowd of cacodemons, demons, imps and shotgun guys to teleport in. Fight your way to the exit door and kill a demon waiting blocking it (or baron on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare) then press the gargoyle switch to finish the level.

Other points of interest[edit]

A chaingun and a partial invisibility can be found in the south-west area of the warehouse.

After getting the blue key, return to the warehouse and look for a locked door in the north-east corner that you can now open. Open the door and follow a walkway round to a button guarded by two demons (or cacodemons on HMP or higher). Pressing the button will lower three columns behind you revealing a zombieman, a shotgun guy and a baron guarding a rocket launcher.

  1. In the yellow key room, press the unlit lion switch on the north side of the west column to open the wall behind the yellow key, revealing a rocket launcher. (sector 121)
  2. In the warehouse, head to the west side and head east and south to an armor bonus. Lower the crate to the east (with a candle on it) to find a supercharge. (sector 288)
  3. In the north-east part of the level, use the skull switch to lower the surrounding wall. Lower the north wall with slime to find a passage, and the wall at the dead end will lower. Head south to another lowering wall that hides a megaarmor, a rocket, a clip and shotgun shells. (sector 258)
