E2M3: The Blazed is the third map of Slaughter Until Death. It was designed by Thomas Möller, then known as Grindcrusher, and includes "Suspense" as a replacement music track.

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the start of the level, press the southeast skull switches to find armor bonuses, a medikit, a chainsaw, a shotgun and some shells. (sector 196)
  2. See Secret 1. (sector 197)
  3. In the jagged stone room with the switch, press the wall behind the stimpack to reveal a snake hallway. Press the ending wall of that hallway to open up a new area. Press the first light snake wall you run into and climb up the lift to reveal a marble hall with some enemies and a teleporter which leads you to the outer area with a lot of stimpacks and shells. (sector 286)
  4. In the snake area, take a left turn and after some walking, there will be two light snake walls, as opposed to the purple snake walls around you. Open the left one to see a lot of dead demons, some alive demons and a medikit. (sector 99)

  6. Now open the right light snake wall to open a room with an imp and a stimpack. (sector 101)

  9. After you press the switch in the jagged stone room, a portion of the floor in the hallway will lower into a blood circle. Press the wall with bullet puffs and holes to reveal stimpacks, boxes of shells and some enemies. This consists of two secrets - the door and the room. (sector 81)

  11. In the blood circle, take the western door. Use the wall with bullet puffs and holes to open a dark hallway which consists of three secrets, but you can find a staggering 8 secrets in this area alone. (sector 86)

  14. Inside the hallway of Secret 11, shoot the western wall with bullet puffs and holes to open another secret room containing a megaarmor. (sector 88)

  16. After the flickering light in the Secret 11 hallway, look for a wall with bullet puffs and holes on the eastern wall. Shoot it to reveal a spectre and a soulsphere. (sector 91)

  18. The ending wall of the Secret 11 hallway has a blood border on it. Use it to open an area with sergeants, shells, stimpacks and barrels. The door in the room takes you back to the intersection and the stairs near the start of the level. (sector 89)
  19. In the hallway to the left after you go through the red door, there will be a marble gargoyle face. Press it to find another secret with a chaingun, ammo, barrels, enemies and stimpacks. (sector 111)
  20. After climbing the spiral stairs in a marble hall, a floor will lower into a small blood circle. Press the easternmost red rock wall on the inside circle to reveal a cacodemon and a soulsphere. (sector 187)
