Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. After pressing the switch at the top of the large staircase in the west, jump off any of the sides (other than the south) between the short red firesticks. Now head back through the blue door - you can collect the soul sphere in the centre of this room. Note that if you try to collect the soul sphere earlier, you will be crushed (walking between the firesticks raises the ceiling to a safe height). (sector 74)
  2. In the south-east is a room with two teleporters on raised columns. There are also narrow staircases along the side walls (raised on pressing a switch). Ascend the eastern staircase to the corner, then perform a rocket jump to enter the teleporter. You will be on a pillar from which it is possible to jump north, south, east, or west, to obtain a megaarmor, a partial invisibility, a berserk, and a backpack. (sector 230)
  3. At the T-junction in the far south of the level, take the western fork. This teleports you to a nearby spot, from which it is possible to walk west. Continue along this path, via two lifts (activated by pressing the east and south walls respectively), to reach several energy cells and a plasma rifle. (sector 91)
  4. The staircases mentioned in #2 both allow access to secret alcoves with switches. These switches reveal switches in the start area. One of these switches opens up the exit, the other opens up access to a staircase. Go up this staircase, then drop down to obtain a megaarmor (press the east side to raise the floor). (sector 17)
  5. Five steps further up from #4 is a secret door on the north wall, leading to a partial invisibility. (sector 34)
  6. Near the exit are two fire textures. The southern one is fake, hiding a switch behind it. Press the switch, then ascend the stairs containing #4 and #5 to reach the area overlooking the start room with three consoles. The northern and southern consoles open doors in the start area on pressing - the switch near the exit allows you to jump down to the start area via the west console to reach the secrets. The southern one, activated by pressing the northern console contains a soul sphere. (sector 51)
  7. The northern secret (see #6), activated by pressing the southern console, contains a plasma cannon. (sector 53)

Bugs[edit]

Secret #2 is much harder, if not impossible, to obtain on I'm Too Young To Die skill level as rocket jumps do not blast the player back as far as in the higher skill levels. It is also impossible to reach when playing from a pistol start in single player, as there is no rocket launcher on the map.
